Symmetrical balance is when an image could be split down the middle and still be equal to the other half. On the other hand asymmetrical is when the picture is not even on both sides. Visual balance is important because it can make a picture look better or worse. It all depends on how you use it no matter what we are taking a picture it is important to use these to two.
